Hi! We’re a small team of real parents (just like you) who write, edit, and double-check everything that goes on KindredEdition.com. Our goal is simple: give families honest, helpful, and up-to-date ideas for weekend getaways, day trips, family vacations, and little adventures close to home. If you are like us, who are curious, challenge-driven, excited, sometimes introverted, but want to feel the joys of life, then you've come to the right place.

How We Keep Things Trustworthy
Every article is researched, written, and reviewed in-house. We fact-check regularly and update posts whenever prices, hours, rules, or anything else change. Photos and tips come from our own families’ trips, trusted local parents, or hired professionals. If we ever get something wrong, we fix it fast and add a clear note at the top or bottom so you know exactly what changed.

Staying Independent
Ads and sponsor posts are always labeled “Sponsored” — some recommendations may involve a collaborative effort with the business. But we won't recommend anything unless we have tried it and feel it's right for our family. Sometimes hotels or attractions invite us to visit so we can share a firsthand review. We only say yes if it’s something we’d happily take our own kids to, and we always tell you if the trip was hosted. Affiliate links (the little shop links) might earn us a small commission if you buy something, but they never affect what we recommend. We only link things we genuinely use and love.
